He was shipped new to New Zealand in 1976 to provide competition and an alternative to the quarter tonners racing in NZ at that time. This never happened and she ended up sitting in a container for many years unused. She was bought by a local boat yard but got very little use and spent most of her time on a hard stand. Fortunately a couple who had sailed to NZ from Europe recognized her for what she was and bought her and I purchased her from them when they returned to Europe.

Heureusement, un couple venant d'Europe, qui voulait navigué en Nouvelle-Zélande, a reconnue le modèle, et l'a acheté. Je leur ai acheté quand ils sont rentrés en Europe.
